JAMES AITCHESON is the author of a series of medieval historical novels about Tancred, an ambitious knight who seeks venegance following his lord’s murder. Set amidst the chaos of the Norman Conquest, they tell the story of the battle for England, and how the kingdom was won and lost in the years immediately after 1066.
The first book in the series, Sworn Sword, was originally published in 2011. The sequel, The Splintered Kingdom, is now out in hardcover, paperback and as an eBook, available online and from all good bookshops. Knights of the Hawk, the third in the series, will be published in the UK on 24 October 2013.
